"THE TRUTH TERRORIST"

This is my space on the web to share my thoughts and musings. It's my Green Room. This is the place where I think about things and where I share those things with you. I love the color green and I'll tell you why. Green is the color of new life!!! After a cold winter there is nothing more soothing then to see the green leaves beginning to bud on the trees and blades of green grass jutting from the earth.

I believe that we have the solution to our problems ourselves. We gather continuously after each tragedy in our communities and ask WHY did it happen? WHO did it? WHERE are the answers? What can we do? We search for answers or someone to blame.

I have had the opportunity to grow over the last few years by leaps and bounds. I owe that growth to many, many people. Some younger than me and some older. Some I have met personally and some only through their writings. I have been truly blessed to be a seeker of knowledge and a truth that resonates within my OWN soul. I am not easily led and have charaterized myself many times as a GOAT.
Goats are characterized as being stubborn and strong-minded, sticking to old ideas, however, their ideas often turn out to be valuable and correct. So, even though I welcome technology and new ways of doing things, I tend to like to stick with what works and I don't change unless I can improve what works. In other words, I am not one for experiments and when coming into new situations my motto is to: PROCEED WITH CAUTION. My experiences in life have taught me much about people and different personalities. My experiences also taught me to look at what people did as opposed to what they said.

So this has led me to examine black Leadership. And I have learned that we must realize that here are plenty who benefit from our inability to control our communities and our ignorance. Even those who look like us. The poetry and writings you will find were inspired by those who are faking in New African Liberation, those who are subscribing to this destructive society, those who "get with the program", who sell out the New African community as they fake helping the community. Those whose pockets are lined with the payoff intended for community development. Those who live and drive well at the expense of the poverty of Black people. Those "leaders" who are actually agents of our natural enemy, yes I am speaking of the POVERTY PIMPS. And now, last but not least, our Brothas and Sistas who are still unaware of what has and what is continually happening to them.

My radio program, "The Truth Terrorist" on Blog Talk Radio, is where I use my voice to talk about things going on in my community. I also share lectures and discuss books that I have read. These books have influenced my thinking processes and I want to share them with you. Below is my Web Player which contains at times some programs I have recorded from my radio shows, my poetry and selections from my vast music library. I certainly hope that you enjoy them. You may send you comments to ifamau@wi.rr.com and let me know what YOU think about what is being discussed or read.

I attempted to try my hand at poetry and I use poetry as a tool because it is entertaining, can hold messages, and while being rhythmic it is the rhythm that touches the soul of Black folks!! My poetry and writing will touch a lot of folks, either as a mirror or it will make them think of someone they know. I liken it to throwing a rock into a pack of stray dogs: THE HIT DOG WILL HOLLA!!

My suggestion is for those you who "feel the rock", honestly analyze yourself, remember I said "honestly" and make a change to do the Right Thing.

WHAT CNN DIDN'T TELL YOU
What BLACK MEN THINK: THE RESPONSE

Myth 1: There are more Black men in jail than in college. That study came out of the Justice Policy Institute in 2002. Janks Morton's research revealed that 805,000 Black men were in college and 757,000 Black men were in jail.
Myth 2:Secretly bisexual Black men explain the high incidence of Black women contracting HIV/AIDS "What Black Men Think" reveals that 2 percent of HIV/AIDS cases in Black women were contracted from Black men. Furthermore, 50 percent of Black women who died from AIDS contracted the disease from intravenous-drug use or sex with an intravenous-drug user.
Myth 3: Half of all Black men do not graduate high school Morton's research revealed that 78 percent of Black male high-school students have graduated or got their GED.
Myth 4: A high percentage of Black men marry white women Janks Mortan asked Black people the percentage of Black men they thought married white women, and the mot common answer was at least 30 percent. His research, however, showed that percentage to be significantly lower. Of interracial mariages involving Black men, 5 percent are with white women. Nuff Said.

Another piece I wanted to share. Mad Props to RBG Nation and the Communiversity for this piece. When you get a chance check it out for REAL education for yourself and those you love.
